New BORG EL-ARAB CITY Environmental Study

Project description

New Borg El-Arab City is a major planned urban center southwest of Alexandria, developed to ease population pressure while establishing a modern industrial and residential hub. Designed as one of Egypt’s first-generation new cities, it hosts extensive industrial zones for automotive, textiles, chemicals, food processing, and emerging technology sectors, alongside a technology park supporting startups and R&D. The city offers diverse and affordable housing options for youth and low-income families, supported by schools, healthcare facilities, commercial areas, and green spaces. With ongoing upgrades to infrastructure, utilities, and regional connectivity, New Borg El-Arab continues to grow as a self-sustained, job-creating extension of the greater Alexandria region.
