EL-SADAT CITY Environmental Study

Project description

El-Sadat City is one of Egypt’s earliest and largest planned industrial communities, strategically located along the Cairo–Alexandria Desert Road to support national decentralization and stimulate economic growth. Established to accommodate population expansion while promoting industrial investment, the city features extensive industrial zones hosting sectors such as chemicals, engineering, textiles, food processing, and building materials. Its urban layout integrates residential districts, public services, and green belts designed to maintain environmental balance and improve livability. With ongoing infrastructure enhancements, new housing developments, and expanding industrial activity, El-Sadat City continues to evolve as a key hub for manufacturing, employment, and sustainable urban development in the western Nile Delta region.
